Honorary consuls

Honorary Consuls are private persons of American or French citizenship living in the State and who volunteer to act as representatives of the Consul General.

They take care of French interests and French citizens in their local area in close cooperation with the Consulate General.

They can for example certify a translation or legalize a document, but they cannot deliver passports or visas.
