Honorary Consuls

Honorary Consuls are French or American citizens living in the United States and volunteer to act as representatives of France and the Consul General.

Honorary Consuls advance local French interests and support French citizens in their local area in close cooperation with the Consulate General in San Francisco.

They can provide useful information on their area, certify a translation, or legalize a document, but they cannot deliver passports or visas.
